As artists, Junsu and Junho respect each other. We started this interview with serious talk about music, but the atmosphere turned out to be cheerful in process.

--- Which part of Junsu’s or Junho’s personality has changed the most since your debut?

JS: Junho is originally an emotional person who tries his best in what he must do. By the way, he became very sophisticated these days. He makes the best facial expressions during the photo shoot. See? He looks so cool now.

JH: Hahaha. In my opinion, Junsu became very dependable since debut; he shares his thoughts as a big brother and he warms people’s heart. We share our passion for music together, share the ideas for composition and stimulate each other well. Every time I complete a song,I give Junsu a first listen. He always gives me shrewd feedbacks.

JS: Yes, I often give specific pieces of advice. Before that weused to work on our own pieces separately. However, as we stay at a hotel room together, we can work on our composition together.

Chansung × Taecyeon

Taecyeon and Chansung became icons of “Beastly Idols” with their beauty and perfect sculpturesque bodies. What is hidden behind their cool looks…?

--- We have this image that Taecyeon is a big brother, and Chansung is the youngest one. What is it like in real life?

CS: Taecyeon always has his strong will and leads the team at the right time….

TY: …What a cool guy.

CS: I was about to say that! LOL He also has a good sense of humor.

TY: Although Chansung is the youngest in 2PM, he is more like a friend who is reliable and gives me convincing pieces of advice. However, at the same time he has a cute side of his. He often bites people.

CS: Yes, frequently. LOL I feel like biting people when I am in a good mood.

--- Chansung, I heard that once you had 49 bananas in a day. Are there any more “legendary” stories of you two?

CS: One day when we were still trainees, a staff-member took us to a kimbab restaurant.

TY: We were always hungry back then, right?

CS: So the sad story was that... The three of us ordered 12 portions of kimbab. The staff-member had one and Taecyeon and I ate the rest.

Nichkhun and Wooyoung think deeply and listen well to each other in an amiable atmosphere…

--- To your mind, which part of Nichkhun’s or Wooyoung’s personality have changed the most since your debut?

NK: Wooyoung has become very mature. Originally, he was such a constrained man. He used to relay his ideas and opinions to me in secret, but now he can share his ideas with everyone else. He gave up a lot of things because of the fear and anxiety he had, but he can now overcome those feelings since he had a lot of practice, I think.

WY: Exactly! I am now trying to get rid of my fears, and also trying to have various kinds of talks with the other members. You really are watching over me, Nichkhun.

NK: Yes, I think that’s because I am a bit older than you. LOL

WY: Nichkhun has always been my role model as a big brother. His warm heart and kindness never changes.

--- When did you feel Nichkhun’s kindness the most?

Allkpop Idol group 2PM have announced that they’ll be releasing a best-of album in Japan on March 14th.

The best-of album, titled ‘2PM Best in Korea 2008-2011‘, will be available in three formats: Regular Edition, Limited Edition A, and Limited Edition B. The two limited editions will come with bonuses like special tracks or a DVD. Depending on the edition, fans will be treated to “Move On” by Junho, “Alive” by Junsu (*Limited B), or a DVD containing footage from JYP Nation‘s Japan concert late last summer (Limited A).

Q001, Looking back, what’s your impression on your Japanese activities?

Taecyeon : It was fun. Although having promotions in a foreign country is full of hardships, we are slowly getting used to it now.

Junsu : It’s a great honor to become known among the Japanese people. I hope to come closer to the fans so that our music can also become widely known among them.

Junho : It is fun to get to know everything about Japan. I see various kinds of formalities in the city or even during my work.

Wooyoung : It was very exciting to attend the firework event. Thousands of fanscame to see us and I was very surprised.

Nichkhun : I’m glad that so many fans support us. The showcase in RyogokuKokugikan was very memorable because I finally got to see the Japanese fans for the first time.

Chansung : Zepp tour is one of my best memories. I was happy to see many fans in each city.

It's been a while since our Hands Up activity, last year. Now we're back again to present you our first Japanese regular album, [Republic of 2PM]. We hope you Korean fans like it~

Q. Tell us how you feel about the release of [Republic of 2PM] album in Korea:
Needless to say, we are all very much excited to formally introduce this album to our fans in Korea! It was released in Japan last November, and a song written by Junsu is among the tracklist as well. The album contains most of the songs we've released in Japan up till now so please show it some love^^

Nichkhun Horvejkul, a superstar of Asia has chosen to star his first Thai movie with a feel-good film studio like "" in its special 7 years anniversary project with 3 generations of love stories. The movie is filled with many good actors such as Sunny Suwanmethanon, Kris Horwang, Kao Jirayu La-ongmanee, Sukwan Bulkul, Opol Panisra Pimpru etc. The movie will be directed by 3 superb directors whose ages and styles are different. They are Keng Jira Malikul, Ping Adisorn Treesirikasem, Golf Paween Purijitpanya. The movie that Nichkhun takes part is directed by the veteran director, Keng Jira Malikun. This is believed to be the biggest movie project to look out for in 2012.

Nichkhun revealed "The reason why I decided to take my first movie role with GTH because I feel it is a quality film maker company. It has many good films which have good plots, beautiful cinematography and fun-to-watch movies. I love this film maker ever since they made My Girl, Shutter etc. I then told my manager in Thailand that I would like to have my movie role taken in Thailand and with good film company like GTH. My manager told me there was one offer from Jira Malikul or P'Keng. When I lookded at the films that P'Keng used to direct or made, I was stunned. He was such a brilliant director and I am thankful that I got a chance to be part of his movie even though I don't have much experience in acting before. I feel honored and proud for being chosen by P'Keng. To be able to star in this 7th anniversary project of GTH allow me to stay in Thailand for more than 5 days in 5 years. I get to wake up to see the sun rises. This gives energy to me to work. This is a work I am happy to do. This film, even it is difficult and it is my first movie, it has some kind of charms that attracted me. There is some kind of push that incourage me to walk through. I would like to tell all of my fans to anticipate for this movie because I give it my all and work so hard for it."

“About studying, I want to continue my study but I barely have time just to get some sleep (laugh.) I have to put it aside. I will go back to study afterward.

… I would like to star in a movie. I want to do something about arts. I love taking photos and I love to draw picture when I was kid. I have not drawn anything for a while now and my hands are getting stiff.

…I want to learn more piano lessons. Back when I was young, I learned piano for a couple of years and I did not really practice much when my parents kept telling me to do (laugh) because I was quite disobedient. Like most of the kids, I think, we regrettably quit it just like that. When I look back, I now realize that things my parents told me to do are very necessary.

…When I was young, I did not have day off. I went to study drawing in weekends. I had to attend extra class in the morning, learn piano and play badminton in the evening. There were things to do all day long just like me nowadays (laugh.)

…In the future, I would love to continue working like this and try on acting.

…Now, I am working in order to build up my status for my family in the future.

…I want to sing in Thailand so bad. Since I am Thai, I want to take roles in Thai films, dramas and release albums in Thailand for my Thai fans to see my works. Now I am seen as Korean star, Korean person or Korean artist to everyone (laugh.)

…It is unavoidable since my company is in Korea but I am still Thai. I want to go back home more often. When I come here I have to stay in a hotel after work. It is my family who has to come to where I work to see me (laugh) and wait for me. My grandmother is in good spirit as she always greets me with smiles, hugs and kisses.”
